Yoshiya (KO) Tin Lithographed Windup “Planet Robot” in Box 

This is a vintage tin, lithographed, windup “Planet Robot” in box that was manufactured by Yoshiya (KO) of Tokyo, Japan. 

When wound with its dedicated key and switched to the on position, this working example moves forward, his antennae spin, and his mouthpiece sparks. The box is in good condition with some creasing on the front of the box. 

This piece is in great all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. This is approximately 8 ¾” H.
